My turd had, “difficulties” lol but my control arms worked well, the spoiler, and splitter seemed like they worked. Maybe a little taller spoiler for the next time, under the bridge at the start/finish line at over 140mph can be interesting. Did a 1:37.84 before it spun a rod bearing. New motor should be back in it tomorrow, picked up an accusump for a bandaid for GTA next month. Then over the winter I’ll get a dry sump put on it. Good meeting some of you guys
Had no idea that beast was there this weekend. Bummed I didn't get to check it out, also bummed for you that the mill went bye bye.
Yeah we were parked over by the fuel pumps kinda hidden away. First time out with the new build, so I wanted to try and keep distractions to a minimum. Yeah, poor motor only turned 11 laps 😭 hopefully the acculturate will hold the next one together a little longer. At least long enough to get through a weekend lol
Both the Exocet and Track Rat ran well the full weekend.
The only casualty was one rim from my Exocet when I turned in too early on turn 6 at high speed and learned why they call the yellow painted curbing block is called a brick!
Brendan, glad you had a good time. Nigel said he got some helpful pointers from your ride along in the Track Rat. Did ever edit any of the GoPro footage?

Working on it as we speak, should have videos published in the next week or two, here's footage of the Rat Miata for you:
Thanks for that! David, Nigel and I are taking the Rat back to LagunaSeca on Friday. Hopefully the weather will clear up. Either way, it should be fun.
Good thing we have changed the pads and rotors. Those DTC60 pads really ate themselves and the rotors (they used to be slotted ). I think the large size disks, low HP, and a lot of different speed drivers didn’t get the brakes hot enough so this is what they looked like after 6-7 events.
