So, Vlad is right. We need to all get together and measure ... the performance of our cars, or something.
Where can we meet? EO2K you're probably the most familiar with the area, breakfast friday morning or something?

In for wishing i knew you gays would have a meatup sooner so I could have sent out decals and such. I am not covering the costs of sending decals from the east cost to the west coast by Friday.

The question is... how many people? There is a Blackbear Diner in Monterey right down 218 from MRLS but I have a feeling it'll be a high profile target as a breakfast spot on Friday AM. They have a back room but I have no idea how many people it takes to fill/reserve it.
Also of note: Watch your speed on 218 as you travel from Monterey/Seaside to the track. Its a VERY well known speed trap in the area. The "city" of Del Rey Oaks uses tickets issued on 218 as its only source of income.

I'm down for black bear. If we all meet there and it's too crowded we can always go somewhere else, but if we CAN eat there it'll be great cuz that place is awesome.

Contact Brian Kelly and Jeff Mann, I believe they're both going down, although they'll be trailering. There's also a dude "with the 2nd miata delievered to the US" at AR, getting his stroaker 1.6 replaced with a NA 1.8, and his link replaced with a Hydra. Last I saw it (last night), it was on a lift with no engine or transmission, or interior, getting FM frame rails.
But he's planning on leaving Wednesday.

I have a feeling finding a hotel room and finding a room for a decent price will be impossible.
I wish I had my 2" hitch welded to my Jetta so I could tow the Miata up on a dolly and sleep in my Jetta, but September snuck the **** up on me.

Well I've been signed up for a track spot since the beginning. I'm not sure I can just swap cars like that though. But wow, that'd be absolutely insane to drive your car. I think EO2K would be a far better option... have you seen my quarter panel?
So, black bear, Friday morning? Shall we say 9 AM?
