SoCal group dyno tune
My new ceramic manifold gets here on Tuesday and I plan to tear the car apart next weekend and install my new parts. After this, my car will be ready for a professional tune. Anyone interested in doing a group dyno day at Church's in Wilmington, CA. Several of the forum members have gone there recently with good results. By the way, I am not affiliated, I just hear they do good work and was hoping we could make this a group discount sort of thing.
Their website: http://home.earthlink.net/~spchurch/...motivetesting/
So, anyone up for this? If so, when would you be ready? I am tentatively planning for the last weekend in Feb, but I need to call them to make sure they are available.

Yes they do have an AWD dyno. The "services" section of their website lists the type of management they tune. However, this isn't all inclusive as I called and they said they also have tuned the Hydra.

Probably the 1st. I have to put my car back together before I run out there. As for rates, I honestly don't know yet. They quote $50/ car for just dyno runs for a group less than 10. However, I need them to do some tuning on my car which is more expensive and takes longer. I will try to find some time to call them tomorrow and see what he says. For pricing purposes, I will say that there are 4-5 people interested. Maybe I will post this on m.net as well.

Just got off the phone with them. They can tune the MS. The prices depend on what you want to do. I know I need to have them do some actual tuning of my car, so that is going to cost me more. If we want to get a discount on having them tune the cars, they need at least three people to set up a discount.
If you are planning on just doing dyno pulls (get a minimum of 3), we need 10 cars to get it down to $50 / car. Under 10 and it is $80 / car. This doesn't seem to jive with what they have on their website, but I spoke with the owner and this is what he said.
They are open 7 days a week so availability isn't a problem. However, I have work-related event that I have to go to on the 1st, so I propose moving this to the 2nd or even delay it another week. If it is more convenient, I could make another thread so we could take a poll.

I might have to delay my tuning as well. Begi offered to clean up my wastegate issues and clean up the casting marks on my new manifold and outlet casting. Still trying to decide if I am going to disassemble the car and have it down for another week or two. I could just get a die grinder and the related parts and do it this weekend.

Pfff,
It's ugly, but mostly cosmetic.
Bodyshop near my apartment just looked at it and there's minimal frame damage where the top radiator support bolts to the fender. I ordered most of the aftermarket parts already and I've sourced the OEM panels from speedf50's parts guy. I just need to get my car over to Urbansoot's buddy so he can look at labor and paint costs.
He said he's going racing this weekend instead of fixing my car. Bet he's drifting in Irvine.
