Saturday Sept 4th MIVE Gingerman $150 Track DE day
Miataturbo.net is an official 'invited club' (by me so just write Chris/ibid invited you on the form somewhere for the $150 rate)
$150 for a great day of track fun (Michigan VW club is a great group that allows passengers in front (doesn't have to be only instructors allowed as passengers)
so you guys can give friends rides!!!

Its fun. BUT talking with owner... it isn't right. Isn't supposed to be so off camber and is being ripped up and repaved.
First lap is warmup. Blue civic hatch is B20 powered and good friend/good driver.
White S4 in this video is I believe a 300+ hp s4, on 225 (:P, wee bit small for a hefty car) NT01s.

^ dunno if that is a bad thing and can't comment since I have yet to drive it myself but I love grattan most of all the midwest tracks (and that blind, off-camber left turn is fun there too!)

I enjoyed it, lots of offs though... people not prepping for the off camber traction issues.
Oh and add at least double the speed/width and distance to the Grattan turn... and thats this one. 9 becomes one BIG sweeping full throttle (in my NA miata), revlimiter in 4th with my 6spd into the new braking zone before 10.

It will be interesting to see how it goes with NASA Aug 21st and 22nd then (my first opportunity to check it out myself)
I think us spec miata's will love it (we'll see how the CMC cars and other higher HP ones do in the Thunder race I guess!)

IMPORTANT UPDATE!
This event MIGHT get canceled!!!!!
From the guy running it:
"I hate to say it, but this track day is in jeopardy of being canceled due to lack of registration. We have to have another 15 paid registrants in order to make this happen. All of those who said they are going to send it in, please do so like, TODAY. That way I get it before Wednesday. If we do not get another 15 paid registrants by next Wednesday, I'm calling Gingerman and canceling the event, and we'll be out the $1000 deposit. "
