NJMP/ east coast Miata challenge /EMRA July 30, 31
Anybody planning on going out to this?

I'd like to get down here for the Miata Challenge Street class. It'll be my first on-track with a car (I had a TAG kart)... I could probably use an experienced racer to lean on for stupid questions (run groups, etc).
I'm actually on vacation in Wildwood that week, so I'll be taking the ride from the Hotel to the track.

I may attend this event.
Though COMSCC does not have a Miata Challenge class, there are several Miata TT classes, and two of them are highly attended and very competitive. Here's a sample COM time-trial result page:

COM will be at NJMP the two days after EMRA is there. EMRA is Sat-Sun July 30+31, COM is Mon-Tues Aug 1 & 2. Since I've never been on the Lightening track, I may attend the EMRA event and stay for COM. I usually run the full season with COM, so the EMRA event will be extra seat-time for me.
If you are in the Northeast, run at NHMS, NJMP, Mosport, Tremblant, Summit, etc., and want to run with a ton of skilled Miata drivers...check out COM. We usually get 25-30 at each event, and a lot of them stay for the time trial (day 2).
If I make it, I'll be a black '96 with orange fastback.
