This is good news!
These 2010 dates were posted in EMRA's forum.
-------------------
May 8 - Pocono - FULL COURSE
May 22,23 Summit Point
June 19 Monticello
July 9 Lime Rock TT only
July 30,31 Aug 1 NJMSP LIGHTNING
Aug 27 28 Lime Rock
Sept 18-19 NJMSP Thunderbolt
October 2,3 Pocono North
November 13-14 Summit Point
Schedule is subject to change -
Most events have Time Trials and Races - Enduros to be determined
Races will be 45 minutes each.
Exact formats for events are being worked on.
Thanks for your patience.
See you at the tracks.
----------------------
From poking around their website it sounds like on a given weekend they run wheel-to-wheel on one day and HPDE/TT on the second day. (?)
"EMRA's day of Time Trialing provides several lengthy sessions of track practice. Late in the afternoon, timed runs (or competitive laps) are taken."
That sounds to me like you don't have to be a licensed racer or have run umpteen prior events with them in order to be allowed on track with a transponder, which is nice. Sounds to me like those in HPDE (with an instructor) can get signed off and do some TT later in the day. They also mention a TT license. Is anybody familiar with their procedures? Mr. roadhugger?
