I just graduated from A&M in '06. Man i loved that place. I used to drive the buses for a couple years and that was a blast. The only place i really go to is TWS about 2 or 3 times a year. We should all go out to TWS some time at a porsche club event or TWS performance school day.
Hustler. You hang out at A&M? I used to go to parties over off of Foch and Nagle all the time at this guy's house who had a bad *** little orange MK1 GTI.

I should (BETTER) have my car running well by then so if I can make it, that sounds like a good time. I've done hundreds of laps at TWS on a bike but not a single fast one in a car. I did drive my truck moderately fast around the NASCAR banking once. They did not like that
Who is hosting the track day? Link?
Never mind, found it

So... driving school... What is the scoop if it is my first time there? If I show them my motorcycle road racing license, and recite in detail the track layout from memory, will they still neuter me on speed or let me go fast?

They may start you out in the Blue group possibly and place an instructor with you just to "make sure" you know you're way around the course and are coherent enough to recognize other cars around you. From there, you can be solo'd in the blue group and asked to be moved into yellow if you are completely dominating blue group people and its getting annoying for you.
