I haven't been to one, but everyone who has gone to one has told me it was the best motorsports experience of their lives.
It is a combination trackday, driftday, party, car show, and music festival. The American Gatebil crossed with Forza Horizions in real life.
Some of the biggest names in time attack and pro-drift come out. Legitimately good musical artists perform at night (for example in GridLife South, Ludacris and Gridlife North they had Andrew W.K.). There is camping on site. Lots of partying.
Yes, it's the vape crowd to some extent but it's also hard core racers who work on their own cars and help each other when stuff breaks.
It's worth going to.

Good friends of mine run it and everyone that goes raves about it. I've personally passed on the bigger festival ones (I'm grumpy and I just want track time/buddy time without the other stuff.... i've been 'old' for years).
If you like track days, have any interest in live concerts, crazy drift guys (who have seriously setup cars/tech behind them) and more... you'll have a BALL.
