Yay!! New Whip!
Not quite a miata, although i will be going back to it somewhere down the road of life (i just miss the feeling of having the miata in the garage)
I went to the dealership on a saturday morning at lexus of orlando, previously checking out their inventory, i wasn't pleased because i was looking forward to a glacier frost or pearl white GS300..... when i got there i saw this thing sitting on the lot (v8 POWAHHHH =] ) so i considered it a little bit and jumped the gun and that evening i was driving the vehicle
(sorry, these are pictures off my cell phone, so no good resolution)
So.... a few weeks from that time, i noticed i can't get anything past 24mpg on that beastly gas guzzling mother f'er.... (that's not touching the pedal at all for a whole week) Now... after doing my audio setup, i'll be looking for a new cheap assed gas sippin' car to drive daily to and from school (school's 45mins away and the parking lots are scary full of wreckless women and idiots who like to dent cars by pushing their doors out with their feet)
any suggestions?

Congrats. I just don't understand one thing: you bought an expensive luxury car, and now you need another car because you won't drive it daily. What's the point in that?
If its an uncomfortable race car or toy its one thing. But this thing is meant for daily driving.
Id have done it the other way: get a luxury car to drive daily and an uncomfortable toy (read: miata) for the weekends.
Nice car though. I'll always choose lexus over bmw and mercedes.

thank you =]
the reason why i want the uncomfortable car is because i don't mind driving to school and letting the DD get ding'ed up by school students
and another plus is to save gas lol, so that's another reason!
I also plan to turn this thing into a "VIP" car... not until the warranty runs out later, but i'm considering it right now, for sure i'll be saving up for wheels, my system's on the way pretty soon

I'm gonna agree with everyone, why spend all that ******* money on a brand new Lexus when you can't afford to put the gas in it. You know they post the mileage on the window these days, right? For ***** sake buy a mini with 37mpg, a top of the line Toyota, Mitsubishi (sans turbo), Mazda, or Honda. Luxury with a gas sipping 4 banger. You obviously didn't think through your impulse buy. [sarcasm]i'm so sorry you don't know what to do with your v8 Lexus[/sarcasm]

srysly? it's just a whole new image of the whole JDM fanboy thing
MmM.... let's go test both of ours out and see who gets more *****? LOL
they're OEM, it's basically a virgin GS430.... and those wheels are actually an upgrade from the stock wheels (i'd take the stocks over these anyday) it was just a good deal i couldn't pass up, and sooner or later i'll be going donk-sized 20's or 22s =]
it's chrome hahahaha....
hahahaha... why? because the miata > Lexus?

thank you.... ever since i was younger i've wanted this vehicle, so i don't think i'll be changing at all anytime soon, even if it has a v8
only time i'll get rid of this is when i get like an LS460 w/ ultra luxury package

But you still spent a lot on a car you don't want to drive, and you will have to buy another car to daily drive... what was the point? You wouldn't have rather just bought a nice car that you could daily drive?

of course i don't mind driving it everywhere, just getting a gas sipper is a + to my purpose.... you wouldn't want to buy a brand new mercedes s550 and then drive to school, or somewhere where it's a crowded parking lot and find out some fat bitched slammed the door wide open and put a dent the size of kentucky on ur door, would you? i'd kill that womannnn RAWR!!!
