So now, come Sunday either way, one of the two biggest perpetual underperformers/chokers will go home with a World Cup, and it will be a first for either. Really though, we'll get to watch two of the best teams ever to not have a WC win.
I honestly think it will be a better game to watch, as well as the consolation game. I'd much rather watch Germany play Uruguay than Holland. The final would have been as boring as today's game...

Never argue with octopi. I was wrong.
The Netherlands/Uruguay game was far better. Germany was soooo flat in this game it was miserable. Somebody held a match in Durban and nothing happened. Spain had several really nice goal opportunities where they didn't score and the ball spent the vast majority of its time on the German half of the field. Germany didn't even play good defense. They certainly didn't play like it was for the world cup.

I propose they send it to us and we'll find a good thing to do with it (we love to eat them hehe).
With regards to the game: the Spanish players have been playing together for a long time. They do some things automatically. It's really hard to take away the ball from them. Don't forget also that most of the Spanish players play for Barcelona and there is all around consensus about that team as the best in the world these last 3 years.
