I read all the books so usually I am a terrible critic of adaptations, but I think they did a wonderful job of translating it to the small screen. I couldn't be happier.
Who else is enjoying the show?
Try to limit spoilers please for those who haven't read the books or who haven't seen the show.

I've been a big fan of the The Expanse for a long time. Currently about halfway through the last book, and I'm letting season 3 accumulate so I can watch it all at once.
The casting of Avasarala is brilliant, but I'm less convinced about Bobbie. She just doesn't carry herself like a Marine Sergeant should.
Season 1 is about 80% of Leviathan Wakes, season 2 is the remainer and about 80% of Caliban's War. That worked OK because those two books are really telling one story in two volumes (the series is really structured as a sequence of pairs of books), but once the events of Abaddon's Gate and (especially) Cibola Burn take place I'm not sure that ending a season in the middle of a book is going to work any more.

I’m interested in seeing how it works out.
I agree on Bobbie. Maybe on Mars their version of Marine is different than what I’m expecting. This, coming from a Marine veteran and someone engaged to a retired Marine.
To me she seems to be “all hat no cattle”. I have yet to see her do anything especially badass that wasn’t in a powered suit. She seems a little soft in the body but again, how do “fighting bodies” look on Mars?
Holden also pisses me off far more than in the books. That said, I still enjoy it and it’s my favorite thing to watch on TV right now.

Haven't read the books but enjoying the series.
I have to tell people to watch at least 3 episodes before giving up on it and by then they're usually hooked.
I enjoy Sci-Fi but this seemed slow going initially, it's grittier and more realistic and after 3 episodes you get that and appreciate it.
As an Aussie, Bobbie's strong Kiwi accent irritates the crap out of me (other Kiwi actors like Russell Crowe and Sam Neill don't have this accent).
Aussies refer to New Zealand as "The Land of the Crushed Vowels", "u" instead of "i" (as in "Fush und "Chups"), "e" instead of i" ( as in "Sex" instead of "Six").
Amazingly, most USA citizens can't tell the difference between Aussie and Kiwi accents.
Thor Ragnarok's Korg (that rock-monster thing) over-the-top Kiwi accent was an absolute scream though (voiced by the director who is a Kiwi).
