What do you name yer...um...car?
Alright, we know that there comes a time when people who are in love with their cars decide to take their affection to the next level and anthropomorphize their cars by giving them names.
So, what kind of cars have you named? What did you call them and why?
I'll start. My first car was a green 1981 Ford Grenada. Because it was long and green, I called it "The Green Bean". Which was easier to say and more PC than my original idea of "Green Giant's Johnson" or "The French Pickler"

I got in the habit from the old exvitermini days, exposing me to the Australian custom of naming a car via the number plates (GTR 700, DVLSH, WARIO, etc). I had a customer/buddy in Oz around the same time and was always seeing pictures of the cars and their clever plates.
BDGR - like "badger." Pound for pound, a tough little bastard. But, at the end of the day, it's not much more than a big rodent.

First car I named was a Daytona Violet 95 M3. The first couple months I owned it, EVERY SINGLE TIME I drove it with the radio on, Elton John came on. It was a sorta gay purple anyway, so I named it Sir Elton.
Bought my 91 miata after that, so another gay Elton John reference only made sense. Levon.
Just bought a 97 and haven't decided on a name yet. Thinking Tony, from Hold Me Closer Tony Danza.
