Someone sent me a PM for a progress update, so I guess I'll clue everyone in.
I've been working like crazy with all the hurricanes. I worked on the car for 2 days, had to back-track to rework the coolant reroute, then came to a screeching halt because I have a "power steering cooler" in the way. Its so in the way that I don't think I could bend it without kinking the lines. I planned on jacking with it today, but I had to get my life in order to leave for Austin for 3-6 months. I'd like to come back for a week in late October to finish the car and take it back to Austin/Houston to run MSR-Houston, Harris Hills, and possibly some hill country runs with the BEGi crew.
I don't know if I'm going to be able to close the hood with the 99 intake plenum and pipe.
It was a real bitch to run at Hallett with all the miatas, and know I could have easily posted up TOD.
I still have to bolt in the plumbing
address the powersteering issue
fab up a mount for the oil cooler
make the splitter / tray
brake cooling ducts
rad shrouding
hookup fans
COPs
tuning
track beatings
get my 2nd et of 6ULs's
I wanted 250whp, but after finally driving a car with r-comps and hawk blues, I think I'll be happy with 225 or so to help with drivetrain reliability and cooling.
btw, that scooter will do 82mph.

About time you posted! I'm old enough to say I missed you and not care how that sounds. lol
And I'm doubly impressed; you have a turbo engine on your car! That is awesome!
BTW, I imagine how much work you've put on these days. I had some personal experience with those storms. I don't envy you!
Now, let's here some profanity laced phrase!

Not for long. I leave again tomorrow to go out of town for a few months and I'm going to be very, very busy. When I got back from Chicago, I worked 3 7-day weeks, then lost my job (to someone who "knows" bush), then went to the track for a weekend to just hang out and instruct (and drive wag's car), then scored a new position, and that means I have to pack my bags. I also interviewed for a job in Philly last week, so I may end up moving there too.
I didn't realize how much cool **** I have for this car, lol.
