I will be there as a spectator. They do not run my class. They are running the 7l class this year there. I have some friends who will be there for that.

Not my boat but I make parts for it, sorta a communal effort.

He's 2.5 mod or stock, I can't remember? I can also run with the A class (2.5 mod) boats. Was he not at NJ this weekend? That black boat that was running next to him in the second video is fast, lotta money in it.

You can take the driver's class. 10 laps. It's $400 though, which is pretty steep for just a joy ride.
it's the stock 2.5l pinto motor class. Since we are in NJ I assume he's at the local races. He does have a race this weekend that he needed a gauge mount made for, I thought he said it was in Canada though.

Ahh. Yeah greenwood lake was just this last weekend. If he was there I missed him.

Video.
I'm signed up for Cambridge, MD to race on the Chopank River August 19th - 20th.
Then it's off to National finals in Evansville In, on the Ohio river. That's September 2nd - 3rd.
Always wanted to try sailing. My buddy just finished a solo sailing from Washington to Alaska on a 17ft tri hull. 15 days.
That is nuts for a 17ft boat, and SOLO!
longest sail i did was sail from Port Canaveral, FL to St Augustine FL. took 36 hours. me and a buddy. i was exhausted afterwards due to lack of sleep, as one has to stand watch, and you cant really sleep well more than 2-3 hours at a time.
I cant imagine 15 days with broken up sleep and possibly bad weather.
and this is 2 people on a comfy 32ft sailboat that can sleep 6, with autopilot, kitchen, fridge, couches, bed, etc...
