Default Thought I would test my camera in car.

stuck my tripod behind my passenger seat to see if it would stay. Nothing exciting really.

just wanted to see what people though of the placement. I'd like to come up with some mount to set it there for autoX

I would put it a little higher and pointing down slightly more so the ground in front of you is more clearly visible, esp. for autox

Your gunna have to really tie that thing down to pass tech I bet. The camera mounts are the best way to go I think.... I'd say you need the camera higher as you can't see the road infront of the car.

thats the problem I would use a clamp but I have no bar anywhere inside the car. I don't really trust the suction cup ones, and I have seen a friend attach a camera to the factory wind stop, but it shakes a lot, so I am at a loss right now.

you autoX with the top down right clamp it there looking through the windsheild
