<edit out words so I don't get banned lul> I have been to Afghanistan. I've lost friends to these fagggots because we can't fight a WAR the way we need to. Wait until you are sitting on the mountain getting shot at and mortared and can't do **** because they are firing from a village like little ******* pussies because they know we won't shoot back. Even though that village supports them and hates us.

I'm sorry you got bombed. It is a rude awakening that I wish none of us had to see. But those people are real and they are coming for you, too.
I think too much of the world is insulated from what is actually happening and how dangerous these people really are. The French learned too late and have lost police authority in 25% of suburban Paris. They actually cannot police their own city or parts of their country. Islamists control it completely and the police are not allowed to enforce the law there. They are only under sharia law.

Thanks for the answers fellows.
What bugs me the most is:
The guy himself grew up in an average, safe, sleepy little town in central Sweden, where everyone knows everyone else. When his family came here, nobody stopped them from practicing their religion. They became equals by law, we gave them what they needed and put their children thru school. Now, is that really not enough to spark just a little gratitude, just a little respect for that country and its people?!! If I would have moved to their country, would I have had the same rights? I dare to guess “no”.
To be realistic, he had a safe, comfortable life, with religious and political freedom. A life not to be taken for granted on this planet and a pretty good deal for someone coming from a war zone. To go from that to “Jihad jihad! I want to blow up innocent people!”, you have got to be pretty damn twisted, or hang with some pretty twisted people.
They claim all kinds of reasons, now that it is done. Cartoons, soldiers in their country, bla bla. They have nothing. Sweden have a solid foundation of laws giving everyone political freedom, freedom of speech, freedom to make whatever cartoons they want, laws that stops the government from using military on the people and bla bla. The ****** could have started an Islam-party and joined the next election, nobody would have stopped him, but he didn’t. Our soldiers are their on a UN-lead peace keeping mission. Oh, how evil.

Is it possible that perhaps his freedom caused this? I know this part may **** a lot of people off, but 1) I don't care, and 2) hear me out. Perhaps if he had a restriction on him enforced at childhood from (I don't want to say the government) but some kind of organized law; then maybe he wouldn't have decided that, "hey I had a great childhood, but now I think I'll go blow innocent people up."
As far as the "wanna be ****" comment...
Let's say hypothetically that we turned the tables on them, and instead of them being like ****'s...we were. Our goal would be to extinguish the taliban race, so to say. Would we be hailed as "peacemakers"? Or would we be put on the level of nonsympathetic slaughterers?

I really think religion is outdated (I'm an atheist, so I'm biased). It really seems to cause more problems than it's worth: from people bitching about prayer at a high school football game to misguided ragheads driven by extreme interpretations, there's not really a benefit. It's use as a social control mechanism isn't needed anymore in most civilized places.
Religious extremism combined with a lasting hatred for **** that our parents'/grandparents' generations did (Israel, ******* with the Soviet bloc/border countries) to **** the middle east off has pretty much fucked the West with a never ending stream of brainwashed suicide bombers unless even more targeted/racist/discriminatory/genocidal action is taken. But we can't do that, can we? The middle east isn't the only problem area for the West -- the far east isn't exactly happy with us, again courtesy of fighting the commies by proxy -- but you don't see a rash of Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese, Cambodian, etc. citizens strapping bombs to themselves and trying to kill us. So what's the big cultural difference between the far and middle east? Hmmmm...I wonder.

But it doesn't take technology to shut us down completely. As soon as these ******* start blowing up the food courts at your local suburban shopping mall or blowing up Ryder trucks full of fertilizer outside the Stadium 12 Theaters on opening night of the next Harry Peter movie, all bets are off. You will see ordinary Americans lose their ******* minds, the Constitution will be trampled in the name of security, and internment camps will spring up overnight.
I fear the possibility because of its plausibility.
