Stereo Equipment Question?
Since there are a bunch of people on here who are more tech savvy than I am...
I am looking for a device that can transmit from my record player over WIFI to my Chromecast Audio stereo equipment throughout my house. Also want to connect to my TV via digital optical for the same reason. Google searches give me WIFI record players, but I have a Techincs SL1200MK5 and don't want to replace it.
So basically, phono level inputs, digital optical inputs, broadcast over WIFI (not BT), preferably no lag, and work with Chromecast Audio. Any ideas? I guess if there is a good solution I would replace all of my Chromecast Audio things.

I am working a vintage audio problem myself.
I believe you'll need to work your phono output post-amplifier with some kind of RCA-to-WiFi adapter rather than doing it from the Technics itself. Some kind of pre-amp/amplifier has to be there because the phono signal is so weak. Deep down, you know that. It's why phono pre-amps exist.
Once you start converting analog to digital--wifi isn't analog--you lose the virtues of vinyl anyway. I'd bet you'd be better off just buying the thingy designed to allow millennials to "get into" vinyl while still being able to record that music onto their MP3 players.

All of my output equipment is now digital. It isn't so much the sound quality but the pleasure of playing an LP on the old equipment. I have a device for recording from the LP to a lossless format and have recorded all of my collection as such, but still like putting a disk on the turntable. I have a bunch of old electronic music that came from an UK subscription service in the 90's and was only available on LP's at that time.
I have 4 systems in my house. The TV and record player can play to one (hard wired). My computer will play via WIFI (Google Home) to all 4 but has major lag. I want to transmit the TV / record player to all 4, preferably with no lag.
