As much as I like the Kappa, I'd choose the NC for three reasons:
1: The soft-top on the Solstice / Sky is annoying to deal with.
2: Aftermarket parts support is better for the NC.
3: Since Mazda still exists, OEM parts support (both availability and cost) for the NC will likely also be better, particularly as the cars age.

For street car I'd choose the Solstice
For race car or part time race car I'd choose NC.
Turbocharging for the NC has still a LONGGGG way to go to reach NA/NB levels. While you can throw a bunch of bolt ons and tune on the Solstice and have a very fun daily.
For race car NC is lighter, and more capable.

I'd pick the Sky over the Solstice.
The debate of an NC miata vs the Solstice is tough. I think I'd pick the NC with the retractable hardtop. Then I'd build it similar to Mann's NC, but maybe a different turbo?
