Today I fed the strays and it was hilarious. I saw Polly-Momma on the patio of the Thai restaurant with people petting her and as I drove up, she sprinted to me car, along with the others for feeding time.

The kitties never asked to live under an abandoned house and go hungry, cold, and lonely. I love them more than most people and hopefully I can enrich their little kitty lives for a brief time.

The short answer is because they can't brush their little kitty teeth.
