Holy ****, that does sound easy.
Do these count?
Jesus f*cking christ, the Staff NCO's at my recruiting station have all been in for ~10 years (some more) and are now Staff Sergeants. Good Marines too. If your 21 you must still have under 4 years of service, how'd you get to that rank so quick? What rank did you join as?

Honestly I've read a ---- load on this forum with your posts in it. You are ------- ruthless and I don't know what I did to get you to start talking ---- to me but this is the only time I will acknowledge it. I really don't want to start any more bullshit than what has already been posted I just want to be a part of this forum and get to know everybody. I just wanted people to know who I am and what I'm about. That's all, nothing else.

I'm a little biased but if you want Job security and something you can use when you get out, go Air Force. They really take care of their people. I'm finishing my degree right now and afterwards will be applying for Commissioning. I can't stress enough how EASY the Air Force is and how REWARDING it can be for the simplest of things you do. I made a Product using Excel and Powerpoint using the very basics, and I received an award, coin, and put in for Nco of the year at undisclosed deployed base. Granted it was made for the General to look at in case ---- went south with our neighbors, the amount of effort I took to create that ---- was nil.
^this is so true. I'm the other side of the coin to his happy rainbow experience and I have friends that had it worse so this isn't a pitty parade

^I'm not going to even go into how easy your world must be if this is your response. I was Security Forces (basically cop, security, and infantry shoved together) and hated my leadership almost enough to frag them. But it's too much paperwork to be worth it. The military experience is really luck of the draw. I've seen some serious retard s---bags succeed with the right friends and enough sucking up. <They are usually the first one to do something stupid an get someone killed/maimed because they are cocky or just dumb. To quote one of my leadership, "You are nothing more than bullet magnets here to keep the enemy busy until more bullet magnets show up" I'm out now due to disabilities that would not be nearly as sever if my leaders took "care" of me

Damn straight. I wouldn't trade my job for SF even if they offered a huge *** bonus. No disrespect to him, thanks for the service. Somebody has to do the job and it's great he stepped up. I'm just saying don't call my job ------- easy until you spend 2 years changing JFS, CGB, Pawl carriers, and living the shitty life of box nasties.
