NRG is a pathetic company. Yes, the wheel-hub company

Free-market consumer:Hey, the stuff I bought doesn't work.
Satanic child-molesting NRG guy: Too ******* bad, idiot. What do you expect me to do about it if you're out of the 3-hour warranty?

My Dad, Sister, and I have been running those cheap ebay green box hubs, and ebay JDM brand quick realeases for 1.5yrs now with no problems. Mine was a hub, qr, wheel combo for $45 shipped that I ran on a racecar for a whole season lol. My Dad has an NRG suede wheel and its nice.

Here is the QR we all have. It has a small amount of play but the operation from off to on is slick, just stick the wheel on at any orientation and spin until it clicks. This is not what I paid for mine but it was the first "jdm" brand I saw. They come in like 15 colors. Sometimes you can find the hub, wheel, and QR as a set for cheaper than just one part. I cross referenced our hub and pulled up some Honda and found it listed under that for max cheapskateness...

I've had my wheel come off of the hub leaving the hot pits before with an older style QR like that and had a bitch of a time putting it back on while traveling 50mph. I like the operation of the one I posted. You just pull on the outside sliding ring and stab. Also being a bigger guy in a race seat I have HAVE to pull the wheel to get in and out. I'd say that cheapy one I posted gets pulled on/off 20 times per track weekend no issues.
