More Dyno Day Pics!
Just wanted to say thanks to all the guys that drove out for waking up early to make it and being troopers with the long dyno session. We'll have to go kart racing next time!
This is what 1100 HP looks like:
Here was by far the coolest setup there:
Here is the speedometer in the Mustang that joined our dyno day and made 710rwhp: :gay:
And according to rcengineering, I should not be able to make this kind of power with 1.8 injectors and my crap-*** GReddy kit...

I haven't checked my FP in awhile b/c I only have a mech gauge, but last I checked with it hooked up, I was in the 90-100 psi range.
It was a dynojet, but just for reference, I dyno'ed the car before the turbo and it made 100rwhp on a dynojet so I know the gain from baseline.
I have been quite nervous about the 1.8 injectors b/c technically, they are not supposed to support more than about 220 as you say, but....they do. That said, I have a dual feed fuel rail and 310cc injectors in the garage, and I am debating whether to just put the dual feed rail on and leave it alone or stick in the 310cc injectors.....

FWIW they are 99 1.8 injectors which a bunch of the gurus swear by as having more "headroom" for FI. I asked the question on m.net as to why, but never got a answer. The even weirder thing is that the 99-00 1.8 injectors flow test lower than the 94-97 counterparts.

When I had my 1.6 injectors in, I was tuning on the dyno and found that no matter how much fuel pressure I added in, they were maxed out at around 9psi (GReddy turbo) and 180-ish hp.

It's about what we were seeing with the tailpipe sniffer vs. the pre-cat WBs, but from what I've read, there is no standard conversion as it all depends upon how well the cat is doing it's job based on age/hiflow/condition/etc...

I think it's easier to run with the sniffer after the cat and assume you're richer than the reading. I just wasn't expecting a difference of a full point, maybe half a point from what I read on it.
All I know right now is that Tom got me (and others ) wanting some more power! I need to make a clean run soon and see what the actual numbers are at 10psi.
Phil's paint also made me jealous.

That night I was looking up the price of stronger pistons and rods. Boost has made me
