I seriously had to check that wasn't a picture of my own cat...
mine has very similar markings. https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1415278128 |
Wow, they are very similar. Harley is entertaining. No fear, always curious but definitely not a lap cat.

Just made a liar out of me. He jumped up on the sofa and is curled up, sleeping next to me.

Do you think for a second that he doesn't check all your posts when you're not looking? ;) |

He is looking directly up at me and when I don't acknowledge him being there, I get a paw to the grill. |

Somehow even with the not so good eyesight this cat has the grace to get up and sit on the back of the recliner without it rocking her off.

Cammy went to the vet today. Kinda disgusting but she had to have rear end work. She was having a hard time pooping and her "glands" were leaking. Couple of shots, shaving, medicine, checkup in 2 weeks. She also lost a tooth. Vet recommends teeth cleaning at $200.
Been putting ice on her bottom and feeding her mushed up pills and caned food. She's not having it. |
My cat gets his ass juice on our white sheets. Smells worse than death.

It's funny, but I can't remember having any of these types of issues when I was a kid and the family cat was always an indoor/outdoor cat. Never had a catbox nor needed one, and they always seemed as healthy as an ox. Is it just the total captivation of them that's caused all the seemingly ongoing health issues that plague the modern indoor cat? :dunno:

Tooth cleaning is expensive, but it makes then so much healthier. Imagine having a rotten tooth, and how you'd feel. They eat better, are more friendly/loving, and just generally have better health.
The last cat we got (shelter/rescue) had a broken fang. Cost me $450+ to have the damn thing yanked and the infection treated. But he's a happy, healthy boy, and I expect to have him for many more years. Worth it for both of us. |
