I least I love and pamper my cats and I don't own a dog and then crate it all day long because I'm a horrible person and don't train them not to be retarded.

Ungh! I never understood the whole kennel/crate mentality

We only trained our dog to go into a open crate for sleep. She has free roam if she pleases... sometimes fighting the cat for bed time snuggles with us hoomens.

...cat usually wins.

I remember book store in Ohio that was also a cat shelter. There was always a dozen or so adult cats wandering around the store. Why not?
