Sad day today... Sitka, my female tortie had three seizures within the last 24hours. =/ Shes an indoor/outdoor cat, so there is a chance that she is having more than that, but there were three instances that my family witnessed. The vets are unsure of what is causing them, but they believe it is either a clot, or a brain tumor...

I wouldn't totally lose hope just yet.

One of my sister's two Chihuahuas went through a rough spot several years ago where she was having seizures once or twice a day for several days. Pretty much the same response from the vet. But it stopped without treatment, and that dog is 14 years old now.

Shes 10 now. apparently it is extremely uncommon for cats to have seizures, and if they do they usually have them from ages 1-4. not when they are older.

Did you recently use anything with permethrin in it? Any chemicals that repel bugs of any kind...

Meet Stan, so named before I checked her sex. I also have another fat street cat called Homeless Pete.

This thread should be called "Show us your *****".

You want interactive?

How about controlling toys in real kitten playrooms:

Thanks man - now my MT time has been reduced in half b/c of 3 girls vying for the computer seeing who gets their cat to attack possessed toy first.
