Default Just swimin the tank

My son won a fish at a carnival like 2 months ago. This meant that I had to buy a 10 gallon aquarium decorated with plants/ a cave/ stones, the works. Nemo seems to be happy. He gets 3 square meals a day, he has a retirement plan (my parents goldfish pond) climate control, and even trash collection.
Sounds like a prison? Sounds like a 40+ hour job.
This makes me look at my life. It seems me and Nemo have a lot in common, but all I've done with my life is graduate to bigger aquariums with much higher benefits. I'm sick of it. Up the street is a dammed up stream where the guy has put a pile of rainbow/ brook trout in. There was a 2' (I **** you not) palomino trout. 2 weeks ago, he said "**** this" and he jumped the dam.
What's on the other side of the fence? Dreams come true? Or nightmares?
Who can relate?

I jumped ship, quit my job, bought a miata and made the hobbies pay the bills a year or more back. I've always had hobbies that can pay bills though, so I can be relativily happy rather easy. If I liked painting and writing, not so much.

Can't say I miss it, the security is nice but to me it seems a rather boring way to live. I'm also a firm believer things will work out if you give them a chance, so far I've been right just not in the timeline I'd prefer.

I'm in a prime time of my life to live so wreckless though, no dependants, no girls, no obligations... Kinda helped me make the decision.

- Give up the rescue dog.

I RMA'd a GPU and my Nikon and last week I got a brand new replacement for each.
