If FEMA had the bicycles, would it fund Hustler's manlet bib?

I finished with the lead pack at the Tuesday Night World Championship last night. I don't know how the **** this happened, I picked-up 1.2mph average speed and this is all after pedaling 25 miles earlier in the day with my dad, knowing I'd be **** later that night. WTF is going on? How is this possible?

My bike computer says I averaged 21.8 which is even faster. WTF?

1) Most people stop racing after Tour of Lombardia (how late into fall do your club races go?), so the fast guys are in beer season.
2) The field is cleaner
3) You are dirtier
4) Your training is actually making you faster
What cat are you racing? We have a Tues night world championships here in Vancouver, Can too. I have not done them in a while, but in my day they were just as hard as some of the pro-conti races. Since it was just a "club race" guys would throw down constantly for no good reason.
Our little scene has produced some pretty good riders: 2 current pro-tour guys, and probably 12-20 pro-conti guys.

very good. 94 Roubaix: epic race I have the VHS somewhere.
If all racing was done at 2 degrees celcius, in the rain or sleet, on cobbled roads, AAAAND allow spectators to hit the racers with 2x4's with protruding rusty nails, the race would come down to two men: Andre Tchmil and Svein Tuft. Hardmen.

Oh yeah, cool wheels Trey.

Learn to weld, make own frame?
Alternatively, lean to do composite layup, make own frame.
Though seriously I wish someone with the capacity would decide that an injection molded fiber reinforced ballistic nylon frame would be. I mean we're talking $3k+ weight bikes for walmart prices.

I'd love to see the tooling required to make an injection molded frame... as it is, carbon frame tools can cost up to $100k PER SIZE. Injection molding tools are more expensive/complex etc. Gonna have to sell a lot of cheap frames to recoup that initial investment...
Anyone seen these cast aluminum DH bikes? Pretty neat, but they are heavy, come in one size and aren't cheap enough to justify it.
