He didn't like it so much. I was told he's going to put my "nuts in a vice".... Kinky Finally found the ignore list. To think, it all started because I tried letting someone know how junk Optima batteries have become. Some folks just don't get it. If you are going to spend 200 on a battery, why not do it on one that weighs half of stock and puts out only what the starter needs. |

I'll be sure to add in the listing that its a "no blow job desk" so I can avoid any complaints afterwards. lol

Meh, whatever.
Needs more MCP. I have some cool stuff I'll be digging through soon. This thing is just to get the ball rolling. I want my foot in the door to get to the good stuff. :) |
So I got the e8 error on my lc-1, and the xd-16 isn't allowing me to enter heater calibration, it just skips right to the free air calibration. I think the sensor is screwed.
|
So I found out that an EVO X with dp/exhaust will only get about 1 car length on me from a dig. Then he found out when the playing field is level (from a roll) that I was faster.

or you did something with the black wire. I wouldnt assume you could even go into free air with a e8 error. |

they are comfortable. :)
So you didnt connnect the black wire to the LED/button circuit? you left it unconnected and taped away safely to never ever ever touch a ground? |

Here's that car i was referring to, I'm looking at it for 2 reasons. It doesn't have the rocker rust like most Ohio miatas, and it has a freshened up 1.8. The suspension can be fixed

It had never been striped for a connection so I left it alone. On a side note it will work for about 5min before I get the e8.
where's the sensor located? did you try making an aluminum heatsink s shown in the manual? |

About a foot from the turbo, no I didnt make the heat sink.
|
So does that mean I fried the sensor, or just as the heat sink and it should be good.
|
I'd like to point out on page 7 of the LC-1 Manual:
On TURBO CHARGED vehicles: Install the bung downstream from the turbo before the catalytic converter. The high exhaust pressure before the turbo interferes with the lambda measurement and the high exhaust temperatures encountered there can damage the sensor. The maximum temperature of the sensor at the bung (the sensor hexagon) should not exceed 500 oC or 900 oF. If these temperatures are exceeded in your application you should either install a copper heat sink (instructions below) or the Innovate Motorsports Heat-Sink Bung extender (HBX-1). The bung extender is recommended for situations where airflow is restricted or the encountered heat is higher than a heat sink can handle. 2.5 How to fabricate a copper heat sink... |
So I need to get a new sensor more than likely and add a heat sink like a smart person got it.
