Cabinet? Side console? Converted desk?

My Grandmother called it a "Buffet". Evidently you can still buy them new.

It's a no-blowjob desk.

My return-

Eh, its whatever. Post some pictures of your car asshat.

Till then, **** off. You already said you weren't coming back, yet you keep doing it.
I know my spelling, grammar, and everything else SUCKS.

He refuses to post pictures of his build, yet brags about how good it is. Gay. I know my swap is a hack, but I'm willing to take pictures of anything on it to help someone else.

Braineack 05-27-2012 07:08 PM

Actually, did I mess that up also? Should it be 'til instead? I fail at this... haha

He didn't like it so much.

I was told he's going to put my "nuts in a vice".... Kinky

Finally found the ignore list. To think, it all started because I tried letting someone know how junk Optima batteries have become. Some folks just don't get it. If you are going to spend 200 on a battery, why not do it on one that weighs half of stock and puts out only what the starter needs.

I'm going to list it as a "Antique buffet sideboard server table w/ locking cabinets"

I'll be sure to add in the listing that its a "no blow job desk" so I can avoid any complaints afterwards. lol

Yeah not very exciting is it.

I have some cool stuff I'll be digging through soon. This thing is just to get the ball rolling. I want my foot in the door to get to the good stuff. :)

redturbomiata 05-29-2012 07:45 AM

So I got the e8 error on my lc-1, and the xd-16 isn't allowing me to enter heater calibration, it just skips right to the free air calibration. I think the sensor is screwed.

Doppelgänger 05-29-2012 08:25 AM

So I found out that an EVO X with dp/exhaust will only get about 1 car length on me from a dig. Then he found out when the playing field is level (from a roll) that I was faster.

or you did something with the black wire. I wouldnt assume you could even go into free air with a e8 error.

I don't use the black wire becuse the gauge does the same thing. On a side note I'm going to look at a 95 Friday for a possible trade. Only issue It's sitting on ricelands.

Braineack 05-29-2012 09:06 AM

they are comfortable. :)

So you didnt connnect the black wire to the LED/button circuit? you left it unconnected and taped away safely to never ever ever touch a ground?

It had never been striped for a connection so I left it alone. On a side note it will work for about 5min before I get the e8.

Here's that car i was referring to, I'm looking at it for 2 reasons. It doesn't have the rocker rust like most Ohio miatas, and it has a freshened up 1.8. The suspension can be fixed

where's the sensor located? did you try making an aluminum heatsink s shown in the manual?

About a foot from the turbo, no I didnt make the heat sink.

there's your problem, the errors are legimate.

redturbomiata 05-29-2012 09:27 AM

So does that mean I fried the sensor, or just as the heat sink and it should be good.

Braineack 05-29-2012 09:32 AM

I'd like to point out on page 7 of the LC-1 Manual:

On TURBO CHARGED vehicles:

Install the bung downstream from the turbo before the catalytic converter. The high exhaust pressure before the turbo interferes with the lambda measurement and the high exhaust temperatures encountered there can damage the sensor.
and on page 8:

The maximum temperature of the sensor at the bung (the sensor hexagon)
should not exceed 500 oC or 900 oF. If these temperatures are exceeded in your
application you should either install a copper heat sink (instructions below) or the
Innovate Motorsports Heat-Sink Bung extender (HBX-1).

The bung extender is recommended for situations where airflow is restricted or
the encountered heat is higher than a heat sink can handle.
and again on page 8:

2.5 How to fabricate a copper heat sink...

redturbomiata 05-29-2012 09:38 AM

So I need to get a new sensor more than likely and add a heat sink like a smart person got it.
