Pay your debts, dumbass. Financial institutions do not make their money being "reasonable".

$1200? Sell a few toys and kill that thing off.

That's just the first payment, that's not going to "kill it off".

If my income was better than what it has been, I would have paid it off by now. But considering it would still take me 10 years to pay it off paying double the minimum payment, and it only builds a few hundred dollars of interest a year, I'm in no hurry, dumbass.

The past month or so I've been slacking on my eBay sales due to working too many hours and now my top rated seller status is in jeopardy. I have to complete 10 more sales by the 19th or I lose it.

So this past week I've been desperately trying to list some of the GM parts I have SUPER low and hope for some bites. So far the only thing that sold right away was a steering shaft. I have a transmission overhaul kit that sells for $500 listed at a starting price of $20 with no reserve though!!!

I went to bed last night saying I was going to have sales and woke up to 3 of them!! A good $400 through paypal while I sleep is always a nice, I just hope I can make the criteria to stay top rated.

that entire thread looks to me like a group of high school kids smoking pot and talking about what they'd do if they actually had ambition... oh wait, that's exactly what it is. :loser:

Worst-case scenario is that you can put up a 10 listings, in each of which the item for sale is "a good joke." Set a BIN of $0.01, and post the listing here. I'm pretty sure we'll all chip in and help out.

Haven't posted on here for years...

Conundrum... Would you sell your clean and sorted 270whp WRX daily to get into a turbo miata now (hard top, greddy 1.6, MS, 440cc, 10psi), AND have some money to play with it on the track?

Or keep the wrx as a daily and save up/build a boosted miata (no instant gratification lol, no track days in the near future). The wrx is so much more comfortable...

/ramble, going to sleep on it

pusha 03-11-2012 04:23 PM

ehh, hang onto the WRX and build the Miata

gearhead_318 03-11-2012 04:25 PM

What Pusha said. Do you want to trade your sorted car for somebody else's potential headache?

speedf50 03-11-2012 05:04 PM

^ extremely valid point.

It's much more of a financial undertaking to have 2 cars, but as you said it's nice knowing that my wrx has had damn near everything in the drivetrain replaced.

Guess it's time to start saving... and to get a better part time job.

speedf50 03-11-2012 05:32 PM

Orrrrrr, get a clean 94 and have $7k to drop on it. Flip flop like Kerry.

Minor pet peeve with MS Windows.

Why is it that, if I specify that I want to see all file extensions, Windows also assumes that when I want to rename something, I also want to rename the file extension as well? Why doesn't it highlight only the file name itself rather than both the name and extension? Sure, there are times when I might be manually changing the file extension via renaming, but that's what...2% of the time? Why not set it up to be convenient 98% of the time?

Funny that this never used to bug me in XP until I noticed that, in 7, it behaves exactly as you describe. Highlight a file, hit F2, and only the part of the filename before the extension is highlighted.

Peeve in 7: If I make a copy of a file, Windows automatically refreshes the display as if I'd hit F5. I'm saying it's an inherently bad thing, but it's different from how Windows has worked from the very beginning, and it still really screws me up, even though using this OS for over two years now.

It works correctly in Windows 7.

So I gather.

I can't decide if I should be proud that I independently discovered a necessary product update for Microsoft...or ashamed that MS was actually two and a half years ahead of me the whole time.

Anyone on here a chemist or biologist, or a biochemist by profession, or work in the field?

You should be ashamed, but not for any of the reasons listed.

You know what I'm talking about.
