Goddamn this job is tough, but someone has to do it. Drove 2 hours this morning, got unloaded quickly, found out our load getting us home is at the same place but won't be ready for another 5 hours. Sat in the warmth at Bob Evans and drank coffee and had the best breakfast ever. Now I'm about to crawl back in bed for a quick 3 hour nap. Should get home early tomorrow for a long weekend. So tough... *yawn.

I like when Bob Evans has the strawberry/banana crepes.
|
never get the chicken salad sandwich at Bob Evans.
|
I just have never been to a Bob Evans, there was a fat chick in one of my math classes in HS that worked at one. She disgusted me so that turned me off to the whole restaurant.
|
Chipotle isn't as good as Moe's. We've got both. The marinated steak in the "Homewrecker" burrito at Moe's is awesome. Especially good with the "Hard Rock" hot sauce on it. It's so good it'll make your tongue slap your brains out.

Moe's is pure nast.

About to go to Chipotle again. Downloaded the APP. Not sure if I'm going to pre-order though.
|
Moes does not suck. I used to eat there a lot for lunch on Thursdays for the buy one get one free deal.
But goddamn, Bob Evans. I was blown away. It may have just been the right place at the right time but the quality and flavor was perfect. Blows the Dennys bullshit I've been eating a lot of lately out of the ------- water. |

That moment when you realize that the burning smell is, in fact, coming from your own car.

A post like this demands details, Joe.
In terms of details, I was wearing jeans and a Hawaiian shirt at the time, and had most recently visited Lowe's where I purchased a 3 foot length of flat aluminum stock. This piece of metal, along with my backpack, my normal roadside emergency bag, and a few bags of groceries, were all stored in the trunk. Prior to visiting the grocery store, I had stopped briefly at Staples where I purchased a pack of Avery 15664 transparent label stock, which was sitting on the floor on the passenger's side of the car. As such, my direction of travel was westbound, originating on San Marcos Blvd near the highway 78 junction, proceeding to El Camino Real, at which point I turned south towards my home. The radio was tuned to 89.5 FM (KPBS), and NPR's "All Things Considered" was on. I observed no hummingbirds during this time. |

Well, I was driving home from work last night rather harder than usual, smelled a burning smell, and concluded after some period of time that it was coming from my own car.
