Sticky weights won't be any less damaging if you bring it somewhere to be re-balanced. Typical removal procedure at most shops is to pry and scrape with a long flat screwdriver. :giggle:

Meh, I guess. Though personally I would take a chip on the lip of the rim over a huge gouge into the metal from Bubba chipping away at the weight and the adhesive it leaves behind.

4:45 is entirely too early to be leaving out for work. :td:

Let me know if you want to grab a beer. I live in the DFW, about 5 miles north of DFW airport, and have an interesting mask I think you will like.

I would, but I highly doubt I'm gonna have any time. Stop in, get unloaded, then either to sleep or my next pickup. Plus I'm team driving currently. If I weren't Id probably take you up on the offer. Maybe next time if you're free then.

You and your teammate could both partake in the use of Hustler's fancy mask.

Freaky way to end the day

Just came home to find my house and two others surrounded by police crime scene tape. I was not allowed to park in my driveway. Lots of cop cars and some detective types milling about.

Apparently, the neighbor "creepy guy" called 911, and when the cops showed up, he beeped the horn to let them know he was in the car, and then shot himself. He used to work for the Army, administering some sort of aptitude tests. The job was moved to homeland security, and they canned him. He's been unemployed for 6 months, and been living in the house with no electricity. Guess he just reached the end of his rope. R.I.P. Mike.

I called him the creepy guy, but he was harmless. He had a wild, bushy beard, and a huge mess of hair, so he looked kinda wild, but he mostly just kept to himself. Liked to birdwatch, and yell at the squirels who came to steal the birdseed. He had been caring for his invalid mother, but she passed sometime last year. Father (whom I knew better) died several years ago.

Police chief was on scene, and came over to the knot of curious neighbors that had gathered. He explained the situation, and apologized for the inconvenience of the tape line. Stuff like this just doesn't happen in this neighborhood, and it's a strange feeling.
