The first time I played FFX I gave up when I couldn't beat the Al-bhed tank battle on the frozen lake. I simply didn't level up enough. The dragon over Bevelle was also a pain in the *** for me that first time. The following times I leveled up and had no issue with anything.
The final boss? Yu-Yevon? You can't die in that battle.

You should play Persona 3: FES. FFX was always my favorite until I played P3. Since then, I have logged over 1,100 hours. Played it through 7 times.

Why the **** is it www.usps.com and not www.usps.gov?!
The last time I checked, even after the 1971 Postal Reorganization Act, the United States Postal Service was still an agency of the United States government.

Yeah, in his final Aeon form he's a BITCH. That was probably the hardest boss in the game. And yes, it is a great game. One thing I love is how the game lets you **** up with the whole sphere grid system. The first time through I had to restart where you fight sin on the airship because I had leveled my characters so bad. My damage dealers' stats were all seriously askew because I had no idea what I was doing.

I think she has Persona 3 as well, so Ill have to try that out as well.
FF is giving me great anger right now. I bought FFXI a few days ago, to get my mmo on, and the ******* PlayOnline service that you sign up with and make payment to, I can't make my damn credit card work. Keeps giving me a common error, something about the info not being correct. Most picky software ever, everything has to be 100% EXACT as it is with your cc company. Oh well. And when you call Square Enix, they tell you to **** off. You can't have them do the credit card info for you. So I'm pretty much boned. Unless I can change my credit card info and match it in PlayOnline and some how make it work.
I LOVED FFXIII... until I realized how linear and short the game was. Visually stunning and played well, just fell short. FFXIV looks like it might be good, and I was surprised to see a FFXIII-2 coming out this year. Didn't realize they had one in the plans. I may be one of the only FFXII fans, everyone I know hates it. I'm a big fan of the FF franchise overall though, lots of history with the games, and lots of fun and memories.

From my understanding the people that designed the game mechanics and wrote the story was mostly new blood and they buggered it up pretty good.
I too loved FFXIII, although I never beat it. But yah, hella linear, I eventually got bored and stopped playing, but those first 10 hours before I got bored were great. Ill have to get back on it one of these days.

FFVII was the only one I played that I REALLY enjoyed. Could also be because I was like 13-14 years old. The storyline is still better than most of the games currently out, although I havent played a RPG since Oblivion and it was so bad I just never tried another.
Is it just me, or are you always sick?
I'll lol if it really does.

Ugh...I am starting to realize how book-dumb I am. So I'm running through some practice questions for my COMPASS test today (finally getting my *** back to school 11 years after HS)...and I'm running through what should be simple algebra...of which I've forgotten everything. Sucks for me that numbers and variables are just something that have never clicked with me....and my frustration level goes from 'meh' to 'stick a knife thru my brain' in about .2 sec of looking at just about any of these questions. But I have to get this **** right and I have to learn it....I can only hope I get to a point where the switch clicks and I "get it".

At this point if you go back to smoking you're a bitch. The first month is the hardest, after that its just time gone by. Congrats on the first step though bro.
My dad has chewed tobacco since he was a kid and still does. I tried it but it wasn't my thing.
Just this past Friday one of the guys here grabbed the wrong DD cup by mistake and took a swig of his after spit. It was the end of the day too, so it was probably 1/3 full with that ****. I was laughing my *** of but it was making me feel sick just thinking about it.

Not too much
Dude, I just gave it up cold turkey. I woke up and decided I wouldn't smoke anymore. I have no real desire to light up but I miss the **** out of it. I don't understand how people have so much difficulty with quitting.
I'm a man so I just gut it.

I'm not. I've worked really hard on some things I would like to see to fruition.
And I'm not done with my car, either.
A guy I work with who smokes was told by his doctor that the most common cause of erectile dysfunction is smoking cigarettes for several years. That's a good enough reason not to do it.
He was prescribed Viagra by that doc and was nice enough to give me one to take home a couple of weeks ago. I must say that even if you don't need them, taking one (or maybe just half of one) is a win. It's the gift that just keeps on giving.
