Now I remember why I only ship UPS. I often get packages a day early from UPS, however FedEx never makes an attempt to get me my package early. I have had a package at the destination sort facility 15 miles from my door since Friday, and today they still didn't send it out, since it was originally slated for Tuesday delivery. Thanks for getting it to me... However I have a UPS package getting here in about 4-5 hours that wasn't due to get here until Tuesday.

Really? Why the hell not. I didn't know that. A work week is Monday through Friday, I expect trucks to be running on a Monday to get me my ****. Oh well, another point for UPS in my book. Only used FedEx when it's the only option.

To compete with UPS they deliver on Saturdays instead.

I don't see that being a good trade-off. Most businesses are worried about getting stuff on a work day, not on the weekend. That irritates me even more. So my package arrived at the local sort facility early Friday, it then sat there all day Friday, all day Saturday, and then all day today just because it wasn't due to be shipped until tomorrow. Great business!

Bullshit. They deliver on Mondays. They ALSO deliver on Saturday to compete with, 1-up the service of, UPS.

What sorta *** backwards competition would that be?!

The only offer HOME Delivery services on Tuesdays-Friday. Only because of the stupid way they partner with USPS to deliver the packages, logistical reasons.

FedEx delivers Monday - Saturday. Got my new phone on Monday of last week through them. UPS does the same thing. *edit* Brain beat me to it.

Both FedEx Express and UPS deliver Monday through Saturday. Saturday delivery is an extra-cost service with both companies. There can be no argument on this point.

I just woke up (2:15 pm) and I decided to outline my schedule for today:

1. Order textbook
2. Get drunk

OK since we are talking about whisky I have words to say:

Buffalo ******* trace!

GEORGE MOTHERFUCKING T STAGG IS THE SOVEREIGN LORD OF ALL BOURBON!

That said Blantons is fantastic with some lime and Eagle Rare is great straight up.

I've done a few whiskey tastings this year and note that after a few shots, of course, they all start to taste the same.

Back when I was in my band and carried a bottle of jack or jim with me everywhere, the cheap stuff was fine but I was also in a sadomasochistic state of mind.

If anyone finds George T Stagg please buy me a bottle too.

Stupid Android 2.2 Since I upgraded the phone has been laggy, it locks up on occasion which it never did before. Web browser won't load some pages. It gets to 90% and then vibrates at me and closes the browser. Especially pages with a mobile version like ebay. Can one go to an older version? I liked 2.1 much more. 2.2 was supposed to do so many great things.

I quit drinking about 15 minutes ago.

I intend to start again is about 5 minutes when I go back into the living room.

It's all a matter of perspective.
