If you google "NES ROMS" or "GENESIS ROMS" you will find tons of sites. Some of them even have download links for actual ROMs, rather than malware.

That's exactly why I'm trying to profit from someone else who has already bothered to download a bunch of good, safe ROMs.

I feel like I’m going crazy. Went into my garage to start building my short block. Installed oil squirters, installed main studs, installed bearings, put the crank in, set up plastigauge, got half way through installing the caps and realized I was missing 1 nut. I just opened the bag and started putting the nuts on, didn’t let them out of my sight. Going to call arp tomorrow and see if they can help me out. Looked over every inch of my workspace too....

I'm giving my nephew a Raspberry Pi 3 RetroPie kit for Christmas for us to set up together. Anyone have a recommended source for ROMs? Not looking for any game in particular, would just like a decent sampling of some classical NES/SNES/Genesis games to load.

I also have NES somewhere on this system, not sure how many but a good number as well. |

PM me if you need SNES, I have over 700. All good, loaded 280 of them on my SNES mini.

Awesome, thanks. I've pulled enough now for a decent "starter pack" for my nephew, but I'm sure he'll soon want some more options.

A friend of mine surprised me with the SNES mini for Christmas. Really excited about it. Definitely going to mod it. Not having Chrono Trigger is blasphemy

So I was driving home the other night and my charger started making some horrendous noises and seized up.
(Usual commute: freeway, 80-100 mph cruise with occasional 120-130 mph bursts) I had a moment of clarity just after I removed the charger belt to start the engine.. I am going turbo. I mean, I have all the work done under the hood, and all I need is a manifold, the turbo itself and a downpipe, right? Wrong. I know approximately nothing about turbos. I don't know what size, what color or what shape turbo I should be getting. The charger is sorta rectangular, I guess turbos gotta be roundish. Wish me luck, I am going off the deep end. |
I have a Pi3 sitting on my desk as well. Going to see about doing a simple audio/video box and go from there.

I did this as soon as I woke up this morning.

I didn't even put up a tree.
There is really no point, we don't have kids, but do have a cat and 3 dogs. One of those being a 50lb Lab/Pitt mix that thinks she is the size of our small King Spaniel. |
Local Garrett distributor has a GT2560R in stock.
850 Euros, 732 after discount. Manifold and DP will be custom made by a local fabricating god in Istanbul. Going off the deep end in the coming week... |

Not a bad price for that turbo new. About what you can get it from a Nissan dealer for in the US.

So this is a little messed up.
Here are a couple pictures of the recent plane crash in Costa Rica: https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...4d990f3aea.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...79d4a5d322.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...cfa53242cb.jpg (note the graphics are not the same on both sides of the plane but you can check the reg # TI-BEI) Here is a picture of the kids of some of our closest friends about to board the same plan 3 days prior: https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...f5ec4d0310.jpg Crazy. |
Here are a couple pictures of the recent plane crash in Costa Rica: - - - - - - - I got my kids a USB Microscope as a gift. :D Here's why: -area of detail, size reference https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...0d41a4cd84.jpg -chip feet and pcb pads using the built-in, adjustable leds that surround the lens https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...d17fe50cbf.jpg -same shot with leds off and using another light source https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...5530af0158.jpg -smd resistors (the smallest ones) https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...00b0752291.jpg A couple of years ago I had to rework a usb uart chip and it was impossible to see the feet with a magnifier and reader glasses. I ended up shooting macro photos and then enlarging them on the computer to verify good solder joints. This is far superior. The best part is the price-: $20 for a 2mp scope! Price escalates quickly for more rez, but this is adequate for my needs. This is the one I have: https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...5522f70b89.jpg |
