How about that red butt-splice on the wire to the right of the alternator?

Its a rubber cap thing? I dunno, I assume the PO broke/lost it. It seems to hold washer fluid in just fine, provided I don't overfill it. It hasn't bothered me enough to do anything about it.

The engine was too healthy for it's mileage. Automatic failure due to lack of failure

o2 sensor wire not in a braid?

There is an unplugged 4 pin connector just in front of hte intercooler.

Dried up leaf in engine compartment? About the only thing I can see that wasn't mentioned.

Is it the fact that you have an intercooler?

Trying to think down on this guy's level, getting close to short bus w/ HANS device.
