Bill the owner has a big thing of being the sole provider of whatever ECU's they use in the US. They have done this with the Link, Hydra, and now the ME221.

They were one of the few with a rototest in the states too. I wonder how many dynos they have.

Visiting their website pics for a short while, I see an old dynojet above ground, rototest, and recent pics have a dual roller in ground.

400hp from a stock bp.... "Stephens was able to extract 399.4 hp and 375 lbs-ft of torque at 25 psi of boost pressure-all this from an internally stock factory 1.8-liter engine! " Then this: "When we last spoke to Stephens, he said the stock engine is on its last leg... " I bet he could have run the car with no oil in the crankcase too . . . for a while. |

His ecu situation is even more odd, anyone else see a lack of CAS?
https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...9f3c31ad46.png Going this route forces you to run batch injection, but that's really no concern at all for a drag car. I find this early attempt at a coolant reroute to be quite interesting. Never considered doing it that way. Not going to have much in the way of circulation when cold, but it solves the problem of the mixing manifold while still preserving thermostat function. |
That front bumper is vomit.

Could someone point me in the right direction for this replacement or part number? I'm looking all up and down rock auto.
It's the solenoid valve that connects to the map sensor, the infamous bog valve. http://www.mazda-speed.com/albums/Av..._2010_012.jpg? ------------------------ Nevermind. BP5W18741 -- EGR Solenoid BP4Y18741 -- Vac/Boost Solenoid (correct one) |
