I kinda figured that was the answer, and was prepared to give a snarky reply. But I just went and looked up the datarates that streaming companies are using these days, and sure as heck, YouTube (as one example) is averaging about 4.5 Mb/s for 1080p via H264.
So that's kind of surprising. I don't really stream much, mostly a downloader...
Sorry about that, continue bitching about your 10 Mb/s internet service.
Cannot watch Netflix and play TF2 at the same time, below about 8Mb/sec. I has 12 now. ****, maybe 16, don't recall. But I can play online FPS, while wife watches Netflix and the boy is watching toy reviews on you tube, with no issues now.
4 Nieces that visit often and always seem to each require their own youtube channel streaming in the background (videos of course) while they play whatever fru fru game on their tablets. All while wife streaming netflix or direcTV on demand to one TV, one of the neices will undoubtedly be playing a network minecraft game at any given time while uploading some live 4 hour video of her toenail polish drying.
How am I supposed to game under these conditions?
I've disabled wifi before. Primary computer, TV, DirecTV, server, printer, and PS4 are all on wired connections. Muahaha.
I originally was on a 30Mbps plan. I think they've upped it a couple times over the years and I'm now at 70Mbps.
My personal experience (at least with *** Communications in OK) is you never get close to the advertised rate so you need to go a Tier higher.
This. Though I have noticed that Comcast seems to actually deliver to their Business Class customers. I'm on something silly like 100/25 or 150/50 at home because work pays for it. No clue what it actually costs
****, we still have private point-to-point bound T1s because **** YOU that's why. (because that is literally the only "broadband" available at some of our business sites)

I have Comcast business at home, it's like 30% more than the equivalent Comcast home service, but it comes with customer support who actually care.
Nothing on it other than that sticker on the back. Dunno if theres anything under the velcro on top. It was wired into some of the engine sensors and some solenoids tucked under the carpet. I ripped it all out since the dash wiring was a mess. The guy I bought it from said he had meth on it at one point but didn't say anything about what brand or how it works.
