I kinda figured that was the answer, and was prepared to give a snarky reply. But I just went and looked up the datarates that streaming companies are using these days, and sure as heck, YouTube (as one example) is averaging about 4.5 Mb/s for 1080p via H264. So that's kind of surprising. I don't really stream much, mostly a downloader... Sorry about that, continue bitching about your 10 Mb/s internet service. :D https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...f8ee5ae0f0.png |
Cannot watch Netflix and play TF2 at the same time, below about 8Mb/sec. I has 12 now. Fuck, maybe 16, don't recall. But I can play online FPS, while wife watches Netflix and the boy is watching toy reviews on you tube, with no issues now.

Serious question:
What the heck are you guys doing, for which 10 Mb/s down isn't adequate? |
4 Nieces that visit often and always seem to each require their own youtube channel streaming in the background (videos of course) while they play whatever fru fru game on their tablets. All while wife streaming netflix or direcTV on demand to one TV, one of the neices will undoubtedly be playing a network minecraft game at any given time while uploading some live 4 hour video of her toenail polish drying.
How am I supposed to game under these conditions? I've disabled wifi before. Primary computer, TV, DirecTV, server, printer, and PS4 are all on wired connections. Muahaha. I originally was on a 30Mbps plan. I think they've upped it a couple times over the years and I'm now at 70Mbps. |

Guess I under-estimated the capacity of kids to consume bandwidth. |

My personal experience (at least with Cox Communications in OK) is you never get close to the advertised rate so you need to go a Tier higher.
Shit, we still have private point-to-point bound T1s because FUCK YOU that's why. (because that is literally the only "broadband" available at some of our business sites) |

This. Though I have noticed that Comcast seems to actually deliver to their Business Class customers. I'm on something silly like 100/25 or 150/50 at home because work pays for it. No clue what it actually costs

Yup, my Comcast Business line is listed at 50 down but it typically tests at 57-59 down.

My HOA pays for our high speed and basic cable. And my monthly dues are less than the cable bill would have been with just those 2 services.

Suicide attack on courthouse in Izmir, a prominent western city in Turkey.
Car bomb, suicide bomber, gunfight, AK-47s, chaos. It has only been 5 days since the nightclub attack on new year's. We're expecting the government to swiftly condemn it in a very determined manner. Really. That's all they do. They condemn and move on. We closed 2016 with a major attack/bombing once every 2 weeks. 2017 is shaping up to be much, much worse. |

It's absolutely astonishing they way Turkey is getting hit with attacks. |
I am unable to elaborate on the developments.
Long arm of the law and all. |

I could be wrong, but it kinda looks like a fueling band aid to me.
Like, increased opening times and stuff. Any brand name, model numbers on it anywhere? |
Nothing on it other than that sticker on the back. Dunno if theres anything under the velcro on top. It was wired into some of the engine sensors and some solenoids tucked under the carpet. I ripped it all out since the dash wiring was a mess. The guy I bought it from said he had meth on it at one point but didn't say anything about what brand or how it works.
This was velcroed (spelling?) to the top. https://c4.staticflickr.com/1/720/32...707d6c66_c.jpg 20161228_190751 by Joseph King, on Flickr |
