wife declared moratorium on crock pot cooking during pregnancy. said the strong smell of slowly stewing beefsteam was exceeding her threshold for keeping her former meals unseen.
on a related slow note, the following item is $40 at home depot. A hot plate is close to 10. or you could get the electric version for $70. (I wanted cheap and the ability to use char coal) https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1350008511 I also picked up a big bag of pecan wood chunks and another of apple wood chunks. There is also the serious amount of salmon in my fridge. And a really solid meat supply at the weekend farmers market. they carry tri tip. that means almost nothing to pretty much everyone but the mid-to-southern californians like, maybe, joe. here is a tri-tip for your edification: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-1Y0NLre8IH...-Tip-Steak.jpg it tastes and smells exactly as it does in your dreams. meaty, savory, smoky, and yes, you can have a side of garlic bread. |
