Here's a new one: Hackers using truck advertisements to get to people?
Here's what happened to me today:
While driving, I saw a local box truck that attracted my attention. It had a company website listed on the truck. When I got to my location, I logged on my computer and went to the site, and it immediately, automatically re-routed my browser to a realllly shady website and a bunch of pop-ups flew onto my screen...you know, the ones that no matter how you close them, a new one or two or three appear.
Anyways, screenshot attached.
I didn't post the website link to avoid spreading the germs further.
Has anyone heard of this practice of advertising spam / hacking?
