I've no idea what prices are like outside of CA, but around here I'd say that thing is worth 10-12.
How many kids do you have? I ask because it always baffles me when people sell subarus for "bigger vehicles" and I can never understand why someone would want something bigger unless you have 3+ kids. We've only 1 kid though so my opinion might change later

The trunk on those things is huge, why would she get upset about it?
I'd say you're at the limit of that thing, but it should still work.
I dunno, I wouldn't sell it if it's still running strong, I regret selling my 08 very often. It's the perfect blend of practical yet sporty.
I'm shocked you haven't modded it more. I'd do a proper tune on it at the very least. THe difference is impressive, they just respond so well to tuning.
PS: the last one I saw sell for 17-18 was a FLAWLESS Aspen white pearl 08 Sport 5mt with some very tasteful and proper mods. It was a thing of beauty, the whole forum (i-club) was drooling over it.

I love the car, it still makes me smile, especially driving in the snow we've had lately. I'd say it's worth 14 to me, but probably not to anyone else, so I'll most likely end up keeping it.
I kind of set a rule for myself early on that I wasn't going to modify it, mostly in the interest of longevity. I haven't really researched getting a tune, but I think I've seen you mention that the factory tune is pretty bad.

Ooh! This thread is relevant to my interests. And I agree about the kids-thing. When our son was born, we just kept my WRX Wagon and my wife's Honda Fit. Space was never an issue. When our daughter was born, we decided to get a bigger car and replaced her Fit with a Forester XT.
Also, I love my Subaru. Our FXT is actually my third. I'm the original owner of my '07 WRX, I drive it everyday, and I still love it.
And one with my son posin'

My Forester is my sixth Subaru, taking salt abuse so the Miata doesn't have to.
I search n00b'd and came up with no mention of the SVX in this thread. Unfortunately, searching my driveway will turn up no SVXi, as I sold my first one to get my second one, and sold my second one to get my Miata.
The first one was a five-speed swap. The second one had a six-speed and rabies:
