Captain Tangent has arrived-
It may sound absolutely insane, but ancient Romans found a much more original way for their daily teeth bleaching. Wealthy Romans, especially women, were ready to pay a lot of money for the local sort of toothpaste, in which human urine was the main ingredient. They could not use their own urine or urine of another Roman: the "teeth bleaching toothpaste" was delivered directly from Portugal. Portuguese urine was supposed to produce a perfect whitening effect, if aristocrats were ready to pay for its delivery.
Urine was used for production of ancient toothpastes and mouth washing liquids before the 18th century. It really worked: urine contains ammonia molecules (which are still used in modern tooth-care industry) that whiten teeth very well.
When the Roman Empire collapsed, its oral hygiene traditions disappeared as well, although some people may probably say that using urine as mouthwash cannot be called hygienic at all.

The debate came up at work today again.
We came to the conclusion that if you were to drink urine that would test positive for drugs, then you too would test positive, and the test content would depend of how much tainted urine you would consume.
Debate number 2: (Take note that this is only if it were possible to do this)
Subject A: Breathalyzer is 0.00
Subject B: Breathalyzer is high, like 3.4 let's just say.
Subject A and Subject B both have 3 pints of blood drawn, but subject B's blood gets injected directly into Subject A.
Would subject A blow any kind of alcohol content into a breathalyzer? Would they catch a buzz from the alcohol content from Subject B's blood?
I said yes, because from what I understand, a breathalyzer works like this: (short version)
You consume an alcoholic beverage and the alcohol winds up being absorbed in your blood stream, the blood is carried to your lungs, and when you exhale the breathalyzer detects the alcohol content.
I'm thinking that if a high alcohol content is transfused into a person with no alcohol content, there will be some kind of ratio with their current blood supply which will dilute the alcohol mixture, but there will still be a significant amount of alcohol in there. It will eventually get carried to the lungs and end up being exhaled, and will show up in a breathalyzer.
As far as drinking urine, that debate is dead as disco. Do I make any sense at all with the blood debate?

This is true, if I drank a quart of ****, then I'm sure I have hit lower than rock bottom.
I've never drank ****, or saw anybody drink ****, but I have seen a girl take a HUGE swig from a beer bottle that was used as a spittoon for Copenhagen Snuff. She actually made it to the bathroom before she threw up.

When I lived on res this local toolbag got roomed with us. He used to steal my food and drinks all the time, including my apple juice. He was such a *** and loved Kiss so much and used to brag about Tribal art and how when he graduates he will cover his whole body with Kiss tribal art.
Anyhow, after him doing it for weeks I finally pissed in one of my apple juices and marked it RICKS - DON'T DRINK and warned the guys I liked in our unit.
Needless to say someone got a sip of my ****.
I would think there would be trace elements of weed / booze in the ****. Why does my pee turn bright yellow when i take 15 vitamins a day. Some element at some level is causing a change.

Anything in the **** would already be so diluted when exiting the body, that after a second cycle through a clean persons body, you would probably never see a thing, maybe very very very slight traces. Low enough to be under fault tolerance for the machines running the samples.
On the drug screen/urinalysis topic, you would be amazed at what some people send us at the lab where I work. We all the time get Lysol, other types of cleaners and sometimes just plain water. Apparently they think we can't tell if it's urine, and we only test for drug content... dude, your **** smells like pine trees, you fail!
Just think of the diluted urine you are drinking as the weakest alcohol/drug concoction ever thought up. If the person had a .20 blood level (no idea what the urine content might be, but it would be as low or lower than the blood content) then you would be drinking an alcoholic "beverage" that would only be .2% alcohol by volume for a 1 quart amount. Your level won't do **** with that little. Same would go for other drugs of abuse.
PS, that would be ~2ml of alcohol going into your system if my hypothetical was anything near correct. 2ml would be equal to about 3-4 drops from a dropper or pipette.

When I used to dip, I'd gut it. I have a luscious V running from my chest pubes down to my ball fro. No estrogen here. All man. All the time.
This **** drinking topic reminds me of when I had the displeasure of learning trace elements of fecal matter were found in a buddy's throat swab when he was getting tested for strep. Nasty ****.

Your concept of liquid volume deviates from reality by at least an order of magnitude. Using a recently calibrated 1000 ul pipette, I determined not more than five minutes ago that 1 ml of anhydrous 200 proof ethanol is 72.5 drops. By that I mean there were 72 full drops and not enough left over to form a full 73rd drop, so the .5 is just an estimate. The same volume of pure water was 83 drops.
I then used our precision balance that is accurate to 1/10,000th of a gram in the hope of verifying that 1 ml out of my pipette weighed 1.0000 grams. To my dismay I found it reading only 0.986 grams so my actual volume, and therefore the accuracy of my droplet counts, were 1.4% low. Clearly, the company that calibrates these pipettes for us is staffed by monkeys.

Yeah, we disagree on some things but I respect your points of view because you have thought them through. You are contemplative about your ideas and use logic in your arguments. I can certainly respect that even if I draw dissimilar conclusions at times.

Well I wasn't speaking of calibrated pipettes, simply a cheap disposable plastic one, or any device to drip liquid from, which I use 8-10 hours a day, and probably go through 200-300 of them dripping samples into tubes. 1ml in a small transfer tube of roughly 1/2'' in diameter is barely visible in height. It might only climb up the side because of surface tension, and won't even lay flat across the bottom of the tube. Either way, a few ml of alcohol is nothing, and the drinking of the **** would only give you bad breath, whiter teeth and a loss of friends.

I guess I'm pretty well known for my useless trivia about things nobody cares about. :(
