What happened to the Focus ST? Too long of a wait?
And why not the prettier '09+ Ralliart? Are they still too expensive? A 2010 evo is supposedly a good buy at 23k. Not that you'll find one that cheap...

pretty much. I figured I can get the WRX now, and in a year or so when the focus has finally been out for a while I can decide to trade in for it, which I doubt i will.
ralliart is automatic paddle shifters only IIRC, and hard to find. I'd want the wagon. I have a thing for getting a hatch right now. So I was looking at the: mazdaspeed3, r32, focus ST, wrx, v70r... and that's about it.
I want to go with an AWD car, so that limits it even further

Ok, my next suggestion is a older saab. You're quirky enough, the '94-02(?) 900/9-3 is dirt cheap, and turbo charged. And it's an awesome hatch. Basically a 2 grand Swedish ms3.
Then get your focus.
Then get your focus.

I however, have fond memories of them. You can get a lot of car for the price. I'm sure now that it's been almost 10 years since I've had one, they're different and crappier than I remember, but still a fun turbo charged option.

Actually plenty of 2010 pearl white options in my area right now under 50K on the clock. I think I could get one easily for under 20K. So that makes me pretty happy right now.
But I need to go and get my car running again and past inspection. but i so busy!

When they finally got the machine up and running, the starter would barely turn and you could here the machine pulling tons of amps and the lights in the store were dimming a bit.
Also the starter had tons of soot all over the blades, so the solenoid/motor were definitely burning up.
Got the new one on and it sounds like it has for the last 12 years and the car is still kicking. So I just need to get it past safety inspection today.
Sucks, every time I go under it I find more crap that needs fixing. It needs two cv boots, the exhaust is about to fall off from rust and it's still leaking oil from something...

That's what happens on a high mile frequently used and abused daily.
Get that ish sold like yesterday. Its pointless to fix every little thing, much easier to just drop price when selling because people are cheap and won't appreciate all the little things being fixed and in good shape like some of us do.

oh im not fixing it. just stating.
just need it to get me around for a bit until the miata can get the a/c fixed. Then I'll take my stereo and speakers out, clean it up, and put it on the market.
If it doesn't sell in the meantime while im looking for a car, I'll just trade it in or drop it off at carmax and they can deal with it.

it's already rocking 17s bro.
lol it finally failed for motor mounts, got by at least 4 inspections when i knew they were toast. They demonstrated to me how bad they were and it was funny to watch the motor deflect about 12" when the reved the throttle with the e-brake on.
No joke, I need to get a vid of it before I swap them out. Gotta love ebay, all 3 for $80 shipped when one is $90 at advance auto.
then i gotta swap on my spare wheels from the miata, cause I also failed for a bald tire.

why cant this be a 6-spd?
Volvo : V70 R AWD V70 in Volvo | eBay Motors
seriously? argh.
This is the best option "local" in a 6-spd:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2006-...item51a111a5b0
weak.

I acutally wash my cars quite often. Ask y8s, I used his a hose a lot this summer
I would prefer white, but beggers cant be choosers. It's still more then I want to pay for a 2004 model year, but with only 53K on the look and in that condition I'd consider it. Honestly in the traffic I drive in, I might consider the auto...I'd a least have to find a local v70r auto and a least give it a whirl... and that's an issue since there are none within 50 miles of me.
Chances are I'll still end up with a WRX, but there's something about those things that I cant resist.
