Crashed 92 FM turbo 1.6 miata w/ 3.90 torsen in Grand Island, NE
I was in a significant crash driving my miata from CA to IL a few days ago.
The passenger front corner of the car took the majority of the damage, that fender, headlight, wheel and tire is done, possibly the control arms too - I didn't get to inspect it much. The passenger window shattered as well.
The car has a hard top and it too has been damaged beyond repair.
About the car:
California car! Illinois registered for a few years (emissions), but always driven in CA, no rust!
Stock 1.6 w/flyin miata turbo kit w/mk2 link engine management
flyin miata "race" intercooler (ver 2?)
RCE 4x550cc injectors
chromoly f1 racing lightweight flywheel
ACT extreme pressure plate and disc
"Competition" Mazda motor mounts
3.90 torsen limited slip from a 6 speed 1.8
k&n air filter on a funnel adapted to the FM turbo inlet duct in a boxed section over the fender
SS braided clutch line
SS braided rear brake lines, but rubber in front, car used to have wilwoods in a past life but kept the SS lines in the rear when returning to stock.
Beatrush metallic shifter bushing in the 5 speed trans
autometer boost gauge in dual pod on A pillar
DIY low-profile roll bar
DIY pre-turbo water/alcohol injection nozzle on the turbo inlet duct, no tank currently
14x7 enkei rpf-1 wheels, maybe two of them are still good, tires are all slicks w/cords visible in places
high milage 1.6 brakes, oem-replacement kyb shocks, original sways and springs
No AC or PS, but has a PS rack (looped)
The trunk has a set of Tein Basic coilovers for the car sitting in a box, included with the car. Also in the trunk are a couple bottles of 15w50 mobil 1 full synth, and a tow rope. Everything in the car is included, including the center console full of at least a few dollars worth of change.
Somewhat gutted interior, no speakers, no stereo.
stock seats, no tears, unless the crash damaged them, not sure.
steering wheel needs replacing, it's all deteriorating.
This car is currently at a wrecker in Grand Island, NE. I'm in Illinois, I flew from Omaha leaving the car in Grand Island temporarily.
The wreckers have been ignorant ********* ever since they towed the car, talking **** about it being a small japanese car, not being worth anything even as scrap.
I figure someone here on this forum is in the vicinity or knows someone in the vicinity, I am going to sell this car (clean title, in my hand) to the highest bidder, which will certainly not be the wrecking yard.
Contact me either via PM on here or email if interested:

I know the torsen 3.9 is a desirable and valuable item, it shouldn't have been affected by the crash. I have no reason to expect the turbo or engine to be damaged, the intercooler may have been damaged, it has a tendency to shear off @ the ear in deer strikes in the past, but that is an easy repair with the TIG.
*** NOTE THE CAR IS NOT DRIVABLE AS-IS, YOU WILL NEED TO TOW IT ***
edit: Moderators, if this is the incorrect section to make such a post, I apologize.

I'll just start the bidding at $500 + whatever the wreckers are going to charge for the tow and storing the car (the tow cost was estimated at $150). You'll deal with the wreckers at the time of pickup, they have the key, I have the title.
The way I see this working is whoever wants this vehicle pays me, paypal or something, then I'll overnight the title to you, then you go to the wreckers with the title in hand and retrieve the car.
Attached is a photograph of the car taken shortly before leaving CA for the trip this accident occurred on. It was my canyon toy in the bay area for a few years.

paypal@pengaru.com, include the address where I am to send the title, I'll include the wrecker's information.

I forgot to mention in the details, the car also has an FM single-outlet turbo exhaust (2.5" I think?).
It would be great if we could get some photos of the damage posted, the crash involved my going under a semi trailer and crashing into the landing gear while we were traveling on i80 at ~65mph. I made a detailed post on a motorcycle forum I host (and have posted about the car on in the past) here: zx6e.net forums -> Turbo miata reborn
