The 100 Best Beers in the World - Men's Journal: http://www.mensjournal.com/expert-ad...world-20141106
I've had 28/100. That's not too shabby.

19/100 - But we have horrible distribution laws here so until just very recently beer selection has been poor. Hell, it was MY Facebook post on the Rogue page that got the rest of their lineup here. Before we could only get about 6-8 of their beers depending on the store, my post got it up to nearly all of them.
But really? Founders All Day IPA? That **** is terrible. TERRIBLE.
Can't believe Delirium Tremens isn't on the list.

^^ Agreed, the list is ridiculously subjective. I think it's somewhat silly to even try and make a general list though; much better to have a separate list for each type of beer.
I totaled 18, but that's only counting the dark beers, as that's pretty much all I buy and can clearly identify. I'll drink an IPA if I'm at a bar that doesn't have a decent stout on tap, but then I wouldn't remember its name or recognize its label, so there's probably even more from the list I could add.
There were only 3 dark beers on the list that I haven't had, but OH SO MANY I can think of that should be on the list.

I don't think that Beer Advocate ratings are valid for some the highest rated beers.
In general, beer advocate scores reflect how much people like the beer. For many of the top rated beers that people go through extreme measures to get, it's just as much a reflection on the availability of the brew.
A great beer that can be found at many liquor stores will always get a lower rating than a great beer that nobody can get their hands on. This can be due to very small batches, beers that are only sold in a single state, city, or even a single location, etc.

Wait, you mean to tell me that through all of the reverie and merriment surrounding the advent of your car being back on the road again, and the MLSR event no less, you never cracked a single beer?
One good thing about that list was that it showed me (just) 3 more dark beers I haven't tried yet:
Everett Porter - Hill Farmstead Brewery
Tweak - Avery Brewing Company
Mexican Cake - Westbrook Brewing Co.
I love a challenge.

I had one Black Prince Porter at Tarpy's Roadhouse with Saturday dinner after driving MRLS all day, I had a Dos Equis in Yuma 2 weeks prior, and before before that I have no idea. It might have been the Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest when Gesso and I got the turbo installed.
I may stop and get beer on the way home
