Wild Wolf American Pilsner.
Unseating the champagne of beers with this sparkly, heady concoction for realz yo.
The flavor is quite sublte, dry, mildly bitter, with a solid hop note. A flavor that also reminded me of champagne. Pretty interesting for a pils when I'm used to more bite from stuff like a Victory Prima Pils or Oskar Blues Mama's Lil Yella Pils (the latter being, I think, my fave).
Sessiony alcohol content.

Tonight I'm trying out a new stout I just randomly came across in a small grocery store up in the Sierras. It's a Black Flag Imperial Stout - American Style 22oz. 11% ABV. I just got the one, but I'm thinking I may just have to go back pick up a few more.

I did a beer advent calendar this year and completely forgot to post any of it here. I bought most of the beer in advance and labeled it with a day, then drank it.
Here is a picture of most of mine and some of the girlfriend's.
Edit: What a terrible picture. It's uploaded from my phone with the IB app, but it obviously didn't go full-res. I'll try again from home.

Here's the current situation:
I'm not even going to attemping listing them all, it's a huge mess of beer over here right now:
You can't see the Devestator, WaSatch Beligan White, LH Nitro Milk Stout, Southern Tier 2x Stout, Ommegang Double, BFM Saison, Deep Ellum Farmhouse Saison, Martin House 4-Grain Breakfast Brew
Some of the more outstanding beers I'd like to note:
Ninkasi Otis
Breckenridge 72 Imprial
Deep Ellum Wealth and Taste
Karbach Frageelay
Baladin Nora
Golden Drake Bourbon Barrel

big heads up to all the kings up in here.
trader joes has bottled some unibroue beer under their own label and are selling it super cheap.
I suspect it's a very similar recipe to their Trois Pistoles which we all know and love.
It's really good. And it's $4.99 for a 750mL bottle.

That Rogue double chocolate stout is pretty damn good! ^
I'm quite fond of this recently. Cheap, and simple. But my inferior taste buds are easily pleased when it comes to beer. I don't pick up on the subtleties people talk about.

surprisingly drinkable imperial stout. almost had a tart/tangy hint followed by a smoky after taste (that could have also been my salmon...)
it was part of the payment for watching a neighbor's cats. winnar!
