auto x pics and random vid of progress
Got back from an auto x in NC yesturday. first time taking the "new" miata out. (was used to racing my stock 92) and looks like i got alot of work to do. the open differential ruined my day for being competitive but it was fun as hell.
my version of an open wheel car
my co driver in the seat with a strut bar i made a few nights ago
my friends csp miata with a wing i made for him a while back
a 0-100 mph pull on my way home last night

its not a competitive car, i only plan to auto x for fun ... and fun it is spinning your tires all the way to the end of the longest straight before you have to brake is quite fun:gay:
dunno about power, will be dyno'ing it in the next month and trying to milk a little more power out of it.
a cone at even 50 mph i dont think would do anything. those cones in that heat fold right over.
i was legal enough for SM2 for them to put me in it. but if anyone in the class were to get mad they wouldnt allow my times to count, not like it matters no one ever runs in sm2 here anyways

bahaha, didnt even notice that good eye, ran over one coming out of a tight 90 degree and draged it to the finish. the intercooler is in the middle of the front. if your hitting cones with the middle of the car.. thats bad.
i saw one guy there in a old bug knock over a cone with his tail pipe, it came out about a ft from the rear of the car

haha yep i used to race with cscc untill the university shut us down. so now i will be going to alot of hscc events. that would be biltmore mall. good eye.
i am waiting on the body mainly for when my compressor gets here. had to fork out some good dough for one that wouldnt crap out on me and would supply enough umph for painting so i would say another month or so and she'll have some paint.
my intercooler piping is 2.5" on both sides.
the intercooler is not what you showed, its a 22 x 6 x 3, just enough to fill up the grill, oh wait what grill :gay:
