Amp help
Let me start off by saying that I am a novice to building circuits. I just want to build my own amplifier that I can play guitar on. I looked around and found a circuit for a push-pull amp that I then put together. To my surprise, it sounded astonishingly good and loud while playing songs from my ipod. My circuit looks like this (please excuse my arbitrary drawing):
I've found I can get more gain by switching the 0.005uF to 0.001uF, but the sound gets "harsher". Also increasing capacitance makes the tone warmer, but the signal distorts much quieter.
I was just wondering, what can I do to make the amp louder, and how can I figure out how many watts it puts out? My goal is 50 watts.
