Friend of mine had his brand new $70,000 Escalade stolen at gunpoint after being pulled over by an "unmarked police car." I seriously think it should be illegal to have real police cars with absolutely no markings on them...

My dad, 84 has a nearly mint 1964 Studebaker Avanti in the garage. Hasn't been driven in at least 20 years. Recently, dad was diagnosed with cancer, and the prognosis isn't good. I've been debating asking mom for the keys, so I can take it out and get it running. One last fling for dad in his "sports car".

Yes def do it. I had to do the same thing my with wifes best friends mom and her 67 mustang convertible(she had pics of her in her high school year book). You gotta do it man. Regret it hard to live with and sorry to hear about your Father.

you dont here. but it's smart to call #77 and tell state police that you are are choosing not to pull over until they can confim it's an acutal cop car, and/or they send a marked car to the scene. I suggest you do this, otherwise, they will probably get pissed off and overract when you finally do, drag you out of your car by your hair and taze your *****. then to top it off they tack an evading police charge to you, all for a simple missing brake light.
