My buddy texts me on saturday morning after work (works nights): "My car won't start, I parked it, I'll try and get a log later"
Next day his laptop wont connect, so we bring his megasquirt to my house and bench test it. Turns out his computer had the wrong connection settings.
Grab the trailer and truck and go to pick it up.
It cranks just fine, but sounds reaaaally weird. No compression, timing sounded way off.
Put it on the trailer take it to my place.
Unload it, do a leakdown test. over 80% on all cylinders. wtf.
Pull the valve cover....

It's difficult to see, but there's a tiny little antenna on top of this information display (which opens up to reveal a huge fiber connection panel.) That antenna is one half of a wireless ethernet link which goes over to the subway station across the block. I designed and installed that circuit. :D

Rhythm & Hues is NOT an inexpensive SFX house to be employing in the fight against an enemy which no longer exists.
